Hurricane Irma GoFundMe

September 27, 2017

To our Florida Keys Celtic Festival Friends and Supporters:

Hurricane Irma swept through the beautiful Florida Keys on Sunday September 10, 2017, and made an enormous impact on every business, every building, every home, every resident and every tree in the entire 100-mile stretch of the Keys.

We survived! We are in the process of cleaning up, repairing and rebuilding. As a result of the wide-spread devastation throughout our community, we need your help and support more than ever before.

As you know, the Florida Keys Celtic Festival is the primary source of income for The Hammock House, a free after-school and summer camp program for all children of the Keys housed on the grounds of St. Columba Episcopal Church in Marathon, Florida. FREE after-school care is huge help to so many families in our community and with so much cost to recover, this year is more important than ever.

Check out our GoFundMe page and help us keep the festival going and growing.

We will be holding the 2018 Florida Keys Celtic festival as scheduled on January 6th and 7th at Marathon Community Park. This is our 5th annual festival and we want to make it bigger and better than ever.

If you are a vendor, clan, donor, participant or attendee, please plan to join us for this very special event and help us celebrate our recovery from the storm. Please proceed as usual with applications. Should you have questions, please call me at 305-797-1704 or email me directly at: geotis299@comcast.net or follow the email info on the website.

THANK YOU for your support of the Florida Keys Celtic Festival and we will see you in January! It’s still Paradise!
