The Florida Keys Celtic Festival features family-friendly Celtic rock and Traditional music, Irish & Scottish Dancing, Sheep-dog herding, Pipes and Drums, a Children’s Glen with games, face painting and fun activities, and fabulous Celtic (and Keys) foods and crafts vendors. Highland Athletics, the original Strongman sport, features a sanctioned Woman’s Highland Athletics Competition and Men’s Highland Athletic Demonstrations.
Proceeds from the Florida Keys Celtic Festival support The Hammock House at St. Columba Episcopal Church, a FREE after school and summer camp program providing nurturing and nutrition. The Hammock House was born out of concern for Middle Keys children who often lack safe, affordable recreation and enough to eat when school is out of session. The Hammock House After School Care and Just for Fun summer and school break camps provide Marathon’s kids a no-cost, healthy place to thrive emotionally, intellectually, artistically and spiritually.
Albannach is Scots-Gaelic for Scottish or Scotsman. That is exactly what we are. Albannach are all born and bred in Scotland and our purpose in life is to share our intriguing culture, history and heritage with you by means of our music.
The Screaming Orphans
The Screaming Orphans are four sisters with the good fortune to have been raised in the magic of Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland. While we can never forget our roots in traditional Irish music, the Screaming Orphans draw on a diverse set of influences ranging from Simon and Garfunkel, The Bangles to The McNulty Family, with a strong focus on melody-driven songs with pop and rocks strains.
Marcille Wallis & Friends
Marcille Wallis & Friends is a high-energy traditional Celtic band but oh, so much more! We infuse our performances with music and dance from many genres, including bluegrass and old-time Appalachian, rock and classical, and Christian hymns, always staying true to our Celtic heritage.
West of Galway
Based in Naples, Florida, West of Galway has been entertaining Irish music loving crowds throughout Florida and on the festival circuit up and down the eastern USA.

We recently celebrated our 3rd Annual Kilts in the Keys Mid-summer Party at Herbie’s Restaurant in Marathon and had a great turnout, lots of fun, lots of prizes and fabulous music by West of Galway.
For 2018, we plan to promote our Celtic vendors in a Celtic Village setting. So, if you are thinking about joining us as a vendor, please contact us.
We are also looking to expand our Clan attendance and are looking for Clans from around the world. Please think about helping us achieve that goal.
There is no better place to be in January than the Fabulous Florida Keys. The temperature is normally 75 to 85 degrees and we always have plenty of sunshine.
Several local hotels are offering special rates and discounts and the Keys have numerous campgrounds as well.
We are expecting around 6,000 attendees in 2018.
The Florida Keys Celtic Festival’s primary purpose is to promote the Celtic Heritage and to provide support to The Hammock House, a FREE after-school and summer camp program for our local children. The Hammock House is located on the property of the St. Columba Episcopal Church in Marathon, Florida, our Founder and primary sponsor.
If we can help you, in any way, decide to come to the Keys, please feel free to call 305-797-1704 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Peruse our website and let us know if you have a question that is not answered there.
We look forward to seeing you in January 2018.
